Morocco visa requirements from Nigeria
Nigerian passport holders need a visa for Morocco, applied for before travel with a fairly standard document set — passport, application form, confirmed flight and hotel reservations, bank statements and an employment letter. The government fee is among the lowest of any destination we process. The processing window, however, is longer than the modest fee might suggest, so lead time is the thing to plan around.

What actually decides a Morocco application
Morocco is a tourist circuit — Marrakech, Casablanca, Fes — and it has the useful property of being close. Royal Air Maroc flies Lagos to Casablanca nonstop in a little over four hours, which is shorter than most European options and makes a week-long trip realistic without losing two days to travel. Casablanca is also a substantial hub, so a proportion of travellers on this route are connecting onward to Europe or the Americas rather than stopping.
The fee is low; the wait is not
Do not read the modest government charge as a signal that this is a quick application. Work back from the processing window shown above and start well ahead of your dates.
Reservations, not purchases
You need confirmed flight and hotel reservations to apply. We issue reservations that satisfy the requirement without asking you to buy non-refundable travel against a decision you do not yet have.
If you are connecting rather than visiting, check first
Casablanca is a major transfer point. Whether you need an entry visa depends on whether you stay airside, so tell us the whole itinerary and we will confirm against it rather than assume.
How Rayonner helps
Tourist circuit (Marrakech / Casablanca / Fes). Rayonner can pair with a hotel package on the same booking.
In practice that means we check the document set against what the mission is currently asking for, flag what is missing or inconsistent before it is submitted rather than after it is refused, and book the flights and accommodation the application needs — as reservations, so you are not buying non-refundable travel against a decision you do not yet have. We are an IATA Accredited Travel Agent, so the ticketing and the visa file are handled by the same people.
This page is first-time guidance, not a legal source. The embassy, consulate or immigration authority for your destination is the only authority on its own requirements, and they can change without notice. Fees shown are what the government charges and are estimates — they are paid by you to the mission, and Rayonner's processing fee is separate and quoted before you commit. No agency, including this one, decides or can guarantee the outcome of a visa application.

Morocco visa: common questions
Do Nigerian passport holders need a visa for Morocco?
Yes. Nigerian passport holders need a visa for Morocco, and it must be arranged before you travel rather than on arrival.
How long does a Morocco visa take to process?
10–20 business days. That is the published window rather than a promise — missions do move, and a file that comes back with a query starts the clock again. Work backwards from your travel date and leave margin.
How much does a Morocco visa cost?
The government charge is USD 30 (single entry). You pay that to the embassy or consulate directly. Rayonner's processing fee is separate from it and is quoted to you before you commit to anything.
Can I book a Morocco hotel package and the visa together?
Yes, and it is usually the better order. The application needs confirmed accommodation anyway, so arranging the package and the visa in one flow means the dates on the file and the dates on the booking match — and there is one person to call if either needs to move.
Do I need a visa to transit through Casablanca?
Connecting airside on a single through ticket generally does not require an entry visa; leaving the airport does. Because it depends on your specific routing and layover, ask us to confirm against the actual itinerary before you plan a stopover.
Flights you will need for this trip
We book the travel and the visa together, so the dates on your application and the dates on your reservation are the same dates.
