Business visa · from Nigeria
UAE business visa from Nigeria
Business travel to the UAE is made on a short-term entry permit, typically sponsored by a UAE company, a hotel or an approved agent. Dubai in particular is a trading hub for Nigerian buyers, and the application turns on evidence that the trip is commercial — an invitation from the UAE side and a business at home that supports the claim.
Typical processing

How this differs from a visitor application
Unlike a European or North American application, a UAE entry permit is normally arranged through a sponsor rather than argued at a consulate. That shifts the work: less interview preparation, more attention to whether the sponsorship route and the permit type actually match the purpose and the length of the stay.
What this application needs in addition
On top of the standard documents for United Arab Emirates, which are listed in full on the destination page.
- ✓Invitation or sponsorship from the UAE company, free-zone entity or approved agent
- ✓The sponsor's trade licence
- ✓Your own CAC registration and evidence the business trades in the goods described
- ✓Confirmed accommodation for the stay
- ✓Bank statements supporting the trip and the purchasing described
- ✓Return or onward ticket
Where these applications go wrong
These are the failures our desk sees most often on this route. None of them is about the applicant being unqualified — they are all preparation.
The permit type does not fit the stay
Short and longer entry permits exist for different purposes. Taking the wrong one and then needing to extend is more expensive and more disruptive than choosing correctly.
Sponsor details do not check out
An expired or mismatched trade licence on the sponsoring side stops the permit regardless of how strong the traveller's own documents are.
Previous overstays
UAE immigration records are consistent and an earlier overstay, including one from years ago, surfaces at application. It has to be resolved rather than hoped past.
Not sure how strong your file is?
The free assessment takes about a minute and tells you what a consulate is likely to take issue with — and what would fix it — before you pay a government fee.
Questions people ask
Is Dubai a separate visa from the UAE?
No. Dubai is one of the emirates and the entry permit covers the UAE. Where you enter and where you do business can differ.
Can you arrange the trip alongside the permit?
Yes — our Dubai package covers flights, accommodation and transfers, and the entry permit is arranged with it rather than separately.
This page is first-time guidance, not a legal source. The embassy, consulate or immigration authority for your destination is the only authority on its own requirements, and they can change without notice. Fees shown are what the government charges and are estimates — they are paid by you to the mission, and Rayonner's processing fee is separate and quoted before you commit. No agency, including this one, decides or can guarantee the outcome of a visa application.
